Comprehensive School Guidance Program
The comprehensive school counseling program at Bloomfield/Middle High School serves all students and works with parents, teachers, and the community to promote academic success for every student. The overall goal of the program is to enable students to succeed and become contributing members of society.
The counseling relationship allows children to explore feelings and interests and provides an opportunity to explore specific issues or concerns. I strive to help students develop a better understanding of themselves and others.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling in the high/middle school is short-term, meaning a student would be seen no more than 8 times depending on the need and circumstances. Individual counseling can begin at anytime during the year. Any staff or parent can refer a student they feel could benefit from individual counseling. Students may also refer themselves.
